ROEL Completes Tenant Improvement Construction of Qualcomm's Building S

San Diego, CA… ROEL Construction has completed tenant improvement construction of Qualcomm, Incorporated’s building S.  The 40,000-square-foot, two-story project consisted of tenant improvements of existing office space and associated site work.  Details included a new state-of-the-art kitchen, servery, an upgraded fitness room, locker room, health clinic, library and a renovated lobby area. A glass screen wall and a trellis were added to the new site work scope.

Qualcomm is the owner, represented by Donna Stewart and Jenny Janszen.  Greg McClure of San Diego-based Architects | Delawie Wilkes Rodrigues Barker was the architect.  Consultants to the design team included Gene Walsh, John San Pedro, and Justin Yurasek of Walsh Engineers and John Elder and Elvia Alvarez of ILA + Zammit Engineering Group.  ROEL representatives included Wayne Hickey as project executive, Doug Briggs as group manager, Jason Gauerke as project manager, Tom Groenendal as superintendent, and Dana Valade as project coordinator.
